ἀφ’ ὡν ἔθος αὐτο μιανεσθαι.—“From those things which custom causes to defile it.” Ἔθος, commonly means a custom grounded in law. (Compare Acts vi, 14; xv, 1; xvi, 21; xxi, 21; xxv, 16; xxvi, 3; xxviii, 17; etc.)
